I have been consistently crashing on depth 7. About 4 times, and once since upgrading from 1.9.1. The situation is usually the same, but nothing uncommon, shooting a charged wave at goblin bombers, the hit would kill them but a fatal error occurs before the death. I'm not sure but some of the crashes on 1.9.1 gave me the opportunity to save before it closed, of course they wouldn't load but it's the thought that counts.
Also while I realize I am not that good yet I do think razorfiends can feel a bit out of depth some times, I think I have seen them appear as early as depth 4.
I also attached a save file for if you need more fodder to work out the loading problem some people are having.
Hmm. Ok; there should be an "error.log" file in your MageGuild folder, if you could attach that to a comment, I'd appreciate it.
Razor fiends should not be appearing before depth 5; if they are, then that's a bug, let alone any balance issues with them.
Save file issue is (finally) corrected in the dev code.
Also, as a side note, I added a new module that will hopefully make uploading of files a little cleaner. If there are any issues, let me know.
All I have left is the 1.9.2 error log, but that should have been attached to my initial post, I will try again.
As for the razorfiends, I am not 100% sure it was on D4 but if I did it was definitely near a level sphere, if that makes a difference.
Well, I cleaned up all of the potential sources of the error shown in the log you sent that I could find, but since I wasn't able to replicate the crash in the first place, I can't be sure it's fixed. If it crops up again with the next version, definitely let me know.
I've decided to tweak the damage from razor fiends down a little bit; the fact that they can just pop around a corner and one-shot a slightly-down-on-HP player is verging into the territory of the instadeaths that I've tried very hard to keep out of MG.
