Hello,
I downloaded this roguelike some days ago and I really love it. First I downloaded the game from the download zone (version 1.4.1.), but later I realized there was a v 1.9.6. link in the forum. Why is not the version 1.9.6. in the download zone? the version 1.4.1. has a really bad bug that can scare new players (you can't close the options screen, the button to close it is missing!). That happens to me on windows 7. Fortunately in the version 1.9.6. this bug is fixed (and this version is a lot better, is the version that I'm playing always).

Talking about the game, the game is great and the control with the mouse fantastic. As a request of new features, I miss graphical bars of the health and the magic (in 1.9.6. the bars appears as # characters).

I'm glad you're enjoying the game!

The reason 1.9.6 isn't in the download area is because it's a beta version, assumed to be buggy, and thus not something I'd start the average player with. However, 1.9.6 has been replaced by 2.0, which IS in the download area. :)

I like the idea of graphical status bars, it's perfect for the 2.5 release I'm considering putting together later, and will probably be implemented there.
